    Another furry friend gone.

Today I lost one of my dogs. Not unexpected, she has been going downhill for the last year. Fortunately I still have another, much younger one.

Sorry to hear it, John. Even though one knows it's coming, it's no easier to deal with.

My sincere condolences, I think I know how you feel.

Thank you all - I have just had a phone call from my 9 & 6yo grand daughters saying how sorry they are and how they will miss her.

As I said before, it was not unexpected, so this was not as bad as if she had been runover or something.

After my old boy Rusty died recently his old widow Jedda is really missing him badly, they were literally husband and wife, its hard to part with a pet, I am having my pets cremated when they die and when I go they can be buried with me, sad to hear John, best of luck.

Will you bury her near your other dog?...a REAL pet cemetery (mind you they are not mere pets but part of the family...)
Yes, first job this morning. Probably do the same as for the other one, cover it with a slab of sandstone (plenty of that locally available) and fasten her brass tag to it.
