    I am going to Winton next week. For a modest consideration I am prepared to test drive the Mucka pub for you, and give a report from the point of view of two aging p*+s-pots.

    been going out there since the early 70's. every few years out for an overnight stay..

    was out there this time last year and had a ball...

    That's not "in the middle of friggen nowhere"

    But it is a nice place, haven't been through there in about 20+ years though, so it may have changed a tad.

    I always liked the idea of being the publican at the little pub at Wingen, near Scone, on the New England Highway. I would rename it The Wingen Cockie, or The Wingen Pom.

    Wingen Pub is awesome. I stop there for R&R on my way home from Tafe in Tamworth.

    Does look like a top place though Inc, if I win lotto... JK, I haven't bought my tickets yet!
