To quote the salesman I saw last week
"Nothing is impossible, just expensive" I wasn't asking of a 90 though, to impractical. I enquired of a 110 duel cab.

I'll take that as a compliment but with all the scratches and dents on the mack truck, i'm not sure it would pass as acceptable for a day at the polo shall we say;):D
Hope to catch up soon Rob, have not seen you in a while. At the risk of highjacking, how do you think your boys might fair against Australia this weekend in the world cup?
Talk soon, Mick
Are rover direct still going? They used to bring in 90's.I think one thing that sunk the 90 was the price was to close to the 110 so people went bigger. Pat

i have done my bit, wouldn't want a 90, would like a hardtop but have two kids....would settle for an 08 defender but i think megs would kill me
Good Evening Kelvin,
The hardtop will not will not be available for the Australian market, and the Defender 90 was deleted from our range in 2005.
The Australian Defender will be available in 2 models: the 110 & 130. The 110 as a station wagon and the 130 with the crew cab chassis. The Defender should be available late October or early November.
Thank you for taking the time to contact Land Rover.

I was keen on the D90, but as I've mentioned in the past if they had a V8 option and auto (like the NAS spec 90's) I would have bought one, even at $55K.
A manaul diesel doesn't do it for me sorry :(
