Nice.:)
I did not think they could get any more hoses under the bonnet than on the TD5. Wrong again.:o
How to you reach your cup or can in the cup holder from the drivers seat. I would only be putting hot drinks in there I think.:p
i dont like how the engine bay still looks like a mad womans breakfast. why does it still look like a half arsed atempt at somthing decent?
I love the look of them without the bullbar. :)
Which side is the exhaust on, I can't see the turbo?
All those hoses - yeek, my old IIA had a top and bottom radiator hose, nothing else. ;)
The cup holder must be for the mechanic, very thoughtful.
Are you just trying to make us all more jeallous?? :coplight:
It's working :lol2:
Great pics
According to one of the comments attached to a video on YouTube that reviews the new Defender, the reason for the "cupholder" on the engine is as follows:
"The hole is used for a centrifugal filter in 140PS Transits for making extended service interval possible, that is in addition to the regular oil filter used. Its cover may be bought from Ford dealers, but function beats form, who cares for the makeup in a Defender :-)"
As we know, the engine is from the Transit, and I wonder if the seats are too.
So the Defender doesn't have a centrifugal filter?
That is one of the good features of the Td5.
