    Hmm, which one??

I have NOW found out I CANT have the cold climate pack on the Defender until possibly some time in 2008, and the 130 is ONLY available as a cab chassis, NO rear tub is going to be supplied.
Coupled with the rear seating being pretty ordinary in the 130, I may have to change my mind and get a 110 after all.

    Oh, the decisions, the decisions!

There's generally a few 2nd hand tubs from 130s around, so you could get the bare 130 Cab-Chassis and fit one of the old (refurbished) 130 tubs.

There is a body builider place in Adelaide I visitied earlier in the year which had 2 or 3 stacked up against the fence (in pretty mint condition - minus all the lights) for $300 a pop. You would have to cough up for new lights and a respray which woulld be a reasonably cheap solution I reckon.

My preferance would be for a cab chassis anyway, with a custom made tray.
    Keep dreaming.

i think its just heated seats and front windscreen .....i.e. creature comforts.

I imagined like some sort of device to prevent the diesel from waxing up ( now THAT would be really useful )....but appears not ....

The tub and canopy will become available soon when I commence building the tray back for mine.

    Hi JC,

    Cold climate pack?

I doubt Australia will ever get those options.

The replacement cost of a heated windscreen on a Defender will be horrendous. And heated front seats to warm up the backside? Dubious value, I reckon.

If Defenders had an option for cooling seats, I'm all in!
