thats the same result you can get when you dont watch where you drive on the flood plains in darwin... cept usualy once the front goes the rear follows slowly.

the box is easier to trolly jack out the bottom and its easier to do if you seperate the tcase out first if its a 2 parter unlike the 95 which is a single entity.

When you get to doing it before you start grab some long partially threaded bolts and cut the heads off, take out 4 of the gearbox bolts and insert those then use them as guide rods to help with dissasembly and assembly.

Make sure you do this, not really a problem for pulling it out, but a MUST for assembly

Where the bellhousing bolts to the block, remove some of them bolts and replace with headless bolts......be sure to hacksaw a slot in them for a flathead screwdriver to

They are used as a guide to get the box mated to the block, makes life HEAPS easier

    Stooge...
I too succumbed while *Shock*Horror* doing some excellent circle work some years ago now...
That is the hole I got my RR stuck in too, except I went ALL the way in It was originally dug with an excavator in that old saw mill pit to aid in fire fighting water catchment etc, (It is very deep isn't it) but they stopped using those catchments because the whole area there is boggy and they can't get the tankers anywhere near it.

I had to climb out the window, and I was winched out with a PTO equipped RR from HARD ground some 25 metres away .

The ECU under the drivers seat was wet, and the trans etc was water polluted.

Cost me a bit that day.

    If I was with you, I would've warned ya!!! ( I would've, honest!!)
