    i just lay the wires next to each other then tape them up and hope they make contact.....

    Then its just like the Real Lucas wiring....

    I dont think I've ever used anything other than a cigarette lighter for shrinking heat shrink.

    I got a butane torch for my birthday this year. My parents are so thoughtful. I use it more than my electric soldering iron! It's awesome!

    And who says ha need to get the right size shrink? Soulder joins shouldn't be jagged. As if that ever happens! The most irritating thing about heatshrink is when you're wrapping several wires in the same loom and you accidentally shrink wrap that's not positioned right. That just makes me grumpy.
