No worries, took one of the Blitz and the Mog but forgot the Antar, White scout cars, WWII Jeeps or the Toyota weapons carrier and even the Centurion - even though when leaving the field I was right next to the low-loader while the tank was climbing on the trailer. It looked like was about to loose a track and I thought there would be some panel beating my front mudguard.

See the Part 2 post in REMLR forum for the Antar

Here's some more series 1 pics .... I simply could not get over the level of detail/effort put into these restorations

    Cheers,

Those 2 80" are owned by an enthusiast in Canberra, the sage green one is a late 1948 which is an absolutely excellent restoration. The 1950 next to it is basically "as found" apart from a wheel repair and is testimony to the durability of these founding members of the Land Rover marque.

    Hi All,
Yep, Dinty is correct, the Workshop Land Rover and workshop trailer are mine as is the SWB GS in the first picture. The 1953 80" Series 1 in the third picture belongs to my father.

Both army Land Rovers were driven to Cooma from Canberra, the Series 1 was driven to Cooma from Tumut along with a couple of WW2 jeeps and the 6pdr A/T gun also came from Tumut.

I must admit that the other 2 80" were "trailer queens" for a day, to facilitate a rapid transit (100KPH) from the Canberra burbs to Cooma for the event.

Both however are registered (1 full and the other historic) and regularly get out on the road.
