Is it just me or does anyone else find it obscene the way they all suddenly have all this money to throw around?
All the promises they make which you just know are totally meaningless.
Wish we could shoot the lot of them and start again.![]()
For the past three weeks, every single day I have had John Farnham's "You're the Voice" stuck in my head.
Mentioning the word Rudd, Howard, Labor, Election, 07, campaign, Coalition, parliament, cabinet and anything else remotely political sets it off
I wish to inflict my suffering upon all and sundry:

P.S. The VEC ought to be disembowelled for using this song.
P.P.S. Howard FTW![]()

My Wife is sick of seeing the face of the blonde bimbo on the labor work choices advert.
If I was that woman, I wouldn't be game to leave the house![]()
It is funny in a sick way really. They use our tax money, to promote themeselves to be elected, by us, who then pay them to do a job that most would consider half baked anyway...
Living in a safe electorate does have it's compensations, Monday night I stayed at a mate's place near Orange. I reckon they are punished with at least 50% more political ads on the TV than we get.

You'll be seeing a lot more of her. This campaign is a copy of a 'tried and true' Labor strategy and first appeared 20 years ago as the 'whinging Wendy' campaign. (Bob Hawke 1987). It was also employed in 1993 when Jo Samuels 'whinged' about the Libs, and what they were going to do if they got in...they didn't and Paul Keating won the day....
All political ads end midnight next Wednesday, only a week to go, hooray!
My missus works for a local tv station - says that more than 60% of available ad space has been sold to the various parties, big bucks!
We get an extra dose of 'spin' as both seats here (Richmond and Page) are marginal.
It'll be over soon enough, and as Gough once said 'Vote early and vote often'

is it just me?,,
I would rather have no surplus and hospitals that worked, roads without potholes, draught beer instead of cans,
better funding for the elderly,,
