Mark, ok Pegasus made them pre 2002... but I have reason to believe that mountain buggy is the company that rose from the ashes so to speak and started fabrication of the terrain model in NZ, about that time....
that original model is still sold and yeah it still costs around A$1000... BUT if you get a factory second (ours had a 2 inch tear in the sewing of the underseat basket) you can get em cheap as a cruddy made in China 3 wheeler. Ours cost A$420 inclusive of rain cover, sun cover etc etc... been everywhere through SEAsia and Oz through more than 10 sets of airline baggage handlers, onto the third set of tyres and still going strong with barely any visiable wear and tear. Still has a value of about $300 as you say on ebay even when well used.
no land rover logo, but it is the defender of the pram/stroller/pushchair world
The missus wants one, but the cost is freaky.....
Anyone got a good 2nd hand pram/stroller?
My sister has a JEEP 3 wheel stroller and it has been on planes from Adelaide to Brisbane return more times than anyone could remember and has been to Hawaii and is in great nic still.
Currently on its 2nd passenger.
