don't know of any tracks...i would like to see the hi-lux match the D3
Hi folks,
A mate of mine on the GC has just texted me
"Just sending message to let you know I have bought a hilux dual cab 4wd so I am ready to go somewhere to show you how it @#$! all over your disco"
Now this mate will have zero recovery gear so I'm looking for some tracks not too far from the GC, graded black with a touch of red.
Looking forward to some experienced advice.
Cheers,
MO

Give Pacific Pines a go... or the quarry down at Reedy Creek is good for a play

I'm sure there are plenty of us locals that will assist in proving him wrongand that way you can have a guided tour also. Just post up when you are looking at going and see if someone can show you the way in. Ormeau is the third of the local spots

no maps for Pac Pines that i know of... as for directions... head along smith st. towards pacific pines... about 100m before you hit the roundabout at the shopping centre; you will see a drop off and dirt road to your left... it goes down through a cople little holes then left into the bushes. Be aware though that a lot of mud holes in this area.
Reedy Creek quarry would be my main choice, off Old Coach Rd... just past the Motocross club

This'll be good. I trust the excellent members of the GCLRO will be very helpful and will supply many videos of this event. Stevo will no doubt want to be your wingman - one white D3 and one black D3.
I'm already feeling a bit sorry for your mate
Keep us all posted as to when this event occurswhiteD3
Why not do a run to Levuka (southwest of Woodenbong),
as there's been much rain lately, it should be pretty good fun there.

Thanks Guys, I'll agree a date and post it.
But keep in mind he is a mate of mine so "bruised, not broken" would be the order of the day![]()
