True but most times these blokes are clueless and have **** all idea of what they want. I've seen it for myself sadly and in a perfect world you're right.

Most building supervisors are ex-chippes or brickies but some are smart **** uni-eductaed ***** who haven't done a hard days work in there lives :mad::mad::mad:

If they knew what they're on about and treated with some intelect we would listen a bit more.

Trav I need to know your birthdate..I think we may have been separated at birth, Brother:D:D
The worst Supervisors are ex office Johnnys who where schedulers or estimators, got the job through the "who you know in the office way"
I know what your talking about with regards to "talking down to trades" as a young apprentice a office boss ripped into my dad on site about a error on the drawing, not his, being a bad tempered paddy and in front of his eldest son, dad lost it and had the office johnny on his tippy toes with the blade of the trowel under the tossers chin and a single rivlet of blood running down the blade, thats my Dad, $150 fine and a suspended sentance but typifying "the Irish Brickie"
I am not so bad as him I just tell whoever needs it to "F" off and if they care to hang around for the sequel its their choice then:twisted: all about choices:D:D:D

I'm only 30 but have plenty of years left to looki forward to these sorts0f things.Most people I encounter are fine it's the small minority of knob jockeys who get on my nerves :mad::mad::mad:

It's hard to explain to most people who don't work out there of why we get agro at times, some people just have no idea (like architects) who come up with these whiz-bang designs on paper that just don't work in the real world.

Easy Trav, that would be you are refering to. I am degree educated and my job takes me on site in a suit, but I like to think that I treat all with repsect. Never worked properly on the tools myself but that doesn't mean i am clueless. My Dad is a painter & decorator so perhaps working for him many years ago has taught me to respect all on site.

Anyway, just be careful not to offend those who have not offended you;):D
