have you looked around around to see what others are selling for.......?
it will also be easier to sell if its converted to lpg......
fuel prices are scaring a lot of people off these days......
As some of you might know I'm trying to sell my LSE I've got $8500 on it is this too much ??(must be only got one phone call)

I do not think it is too much, but all depends on what people want and who is looking at the time.
I have similar with my Ducati. It is right price, good nic etc, but if someone is not looking for one, then they do not sell.
Lots of people would like it but do not have the money.
When I did not want to sell it I could have sold it ten times over.
Cheers

Hey Tony, thanks for the pics. Perhaps you could add more detail in the actual advertisement. Its as though you don't really want to sell it - sorry thats how it came across to me. Its only in this thread that you've actually named a price and number of KM's.
Good luck with the sale, cheers Guy
hi
took me ages to sell my my99 v8 disco eventually went for just over six, i had thought that it was worth near to 8.

Hi Tony yep guess it would but if I could get away with doing that would'nt sell her my better half reckons i have too meny toys and I have to make some room
Hi Craig I did'nt think it was too much ither but in the end its only worth what someones willing to pay just after I brought it I was offered more than I payed for her well you live and learn
No worries Guy, your right I dont wont to sell it but its never used, and better it go and I move out of the dog house again
Thanks for the tip muddy mech i will try it on there, but if a 99 only got "just over 6K" maby i am expecting too much because its a LSE...
Thanks guys at least SWMBO can see I'm makeing an effort
Tony
I dont think asking a bunch of land rover fans what its worth will help you much tony. Most of us know what makes it different from any other rangie, hence the price tag, however the average 4wd buyer, which will most likely be who buys it, unless an enthusiast is looking for one, will just see a relatively thirsty 4wd and think about how much it will cost to run per tank of fuel. There is a guy selling one here in lithgow, which is white, i havent stopped to look but it looks different to a general rangie classis so i am assuming its an LSE, but cant be sure, and he wants 10k for his. It is no longer spending the day by the side of the highway, so he has either sold it at a much reduced cost or has given up. I reckon set a price and then let people negotiate with you. If its in top nick which i am sure it is, then 8500 sounds fine, leave it at that and say or nearest offer in your add. Matt

you could slap a figure of $25,000 on it and say forced urgent sale.....must go this week.......
those that dont know what its worth will start to ring and you may end up with a hell of a lot more than you bargained for.......
even after they "twist your arm" and force you to drop the price a few grand for an urgent sale.....![]()
