I use them at work all the time, great for drilling holes for taps in S/S sinks, they seem to last quite well.

a master of invisibleness.
They actually come in more than one size range. I've got a couple of them in my shed that between them cover a pretty broad range of hole sizes. Handy bit of gear.

There were about three different sets of different sizes, on the shelf.
This "one drill makes many sized holes" single unit covers every size I need. Mostly.
The rest were just sets of two or three in 1mm steps.
The sets cost a bit more, and I really don't need that many choices.
Took the pensioners choice.![]()
A mate in the LROC (Sydney) club also adopted a similar approach. However, he went further and got a small 12V sealed battery, attached it to his waist using a leather tool belt. With suitable cabling, he could drill all day (very handy in repairing some of the Snowy Mtns huts).
