what have you guys been up to?

It's all happened and now it's in the past. IMHO getting an emotionally stiring sticker on the back of your car is a stupid idea and as stated before is asking for vandlism. Who really cares who we as individuals voted for. Are we all forgetting this is a Landrover site? Whoever is in government today is irrelevant considering we live in a global economy and all trends will be followed here. Oil prices will go up therefore everything else will regardless of who is the "bonnet emblem for this country". Resistance is futile, we will all pay $2+ for fuel, interest rates will go up, you and I will whinge for a day or two and deal with it accordingly. Todays high prices will be next weeks sale prices. (5 years ago who would pay $2000- $3000 for a televison, today it's the cheap prices).

Life goes on and there is nothing you or I can do about it, so smile, enjoy a steak and a drop of your favorite intoxicating beverage today, for you may be hit by a bus tommorow.

Yeah, now if it was a "LAND ROVER - Anything else is crap" sticker you might find a few more takers!

I have ythe perfect way to combine our vigorous political pursuits with our love of LR.
Let's start to lobby for the Govt of the day (whichever flavour) to start buying and driving LR and RR as Govt cars.
Think of it, PM and ministers in RR, backbenchers in D3, opposition in FL2 and beaurocrats in any pre 2005 model
I am sure those of us with some business or analytical nous could come up with a sound business case.
Afterall, GM and Ford are foreign, and at least if Tata buys LR we will be buying back our own steel! and helping a developing country!

I was only stirring, and it seemed to work.
