Thread: Attn Vic Members : Chrissy Tree Deliveries

Just wondering if any AULRO members in Melbourne would like to volunteer to help out with the Oxfam deliveries of Christmas Trees this year ?
I try to do it every couple of years - it's a pretty good day really - you feel like Santa delivering the trees - especially the kids and the old folks who get pretty excited.
Anyway the deliveries in Eastern Meblourne are on the 8th Dec and in the West and North on the 9th Dec. Pick up trees from Blackburn ( Sat )and Nth Carlton ( Sun ).
You'll need a trailer, some rope or tie downs. It'll take about a half day of your time, ( depending on your naviagator ) plus your petrol of course.
They raised about $98,000 for Oxfam last year.

PS I think they're delivering in Geelong this year for the first time so are looking for drivers down there.
