    We had fun at GCoast Club Xmas party at

    Hello from New Zealand where we are spending 3 weeks on South Island without Alistair. We really miss the third member of our team and do feel very restricted to 'regular' roads with a rental. But it was too musch hassle for us to face again customs and quarantine...

    We just wanted to tell everyone how much fun we had at the Gold Coast Club Xmas party. Everyone was really welcoming to us and we were very grateful to President Joshua for inviting us to join such a friendly group event. Of course, Alistair got thouroughly checked in and out. There were even a couple of oohs and aahs when lying under Alistair which made me think someone was about to have an orgasm...

    It was also very special to meet the mythical Dave. I must say I felt simply intimidated and fully understood when being looked through by his peirecing blue eyes the reason for his aka Incisor!

    We have a couple of photos to post but we have been unable to find an internet connection which allows the use of a memory stick in the town of Westport where we are. So photos will be posted later on, promised!

    It was great to have you at the party and thanks for your lovely note, glad you got to use some of our home amenities. You'll be pleased to know the house is slowly changing colour inside . The kids were quite fascinated with all the places you have been and some of the brilliant photography. Have fun in NZ,

    I had to leave early from the party Martine & Robert, but I had a quick look at Alistair on the way out........what A truck indeed. Glad you enjoyed yourself and sorry I didn't get to say hi.....perhaps next time.

    here are photos of Gold Coast Club Xmas Party

    As promised, here are the photos of the club's Xmas party. Looking at them you will notice that we have big grins on our faces...

    The Tee-shirt I was wearing for the occasion says : "only the best on this chest, Land Rover". It is a hand me down from the "veteran" of Perth LR Club, Ralph is 74 and still drives his Series I.

    Thanks again for the hospitality guys, more especially Stevo who let us spent the night on his new house premises.

    well thank you two for the lovely note and for coming to our little party, i enjoyed meeting you both and am amazed at the capabilities of alistair.
    as usual i managed to be a bit aloof in the photo's, you can see that i like steak.
