Must say, before my ex took off with our Wrangler - almost always got a wave from other Wranglers...the other Jeeps - fat chance - unless it was a modded XJ Chero with 33" mudders!

Not often I find, although half the drivers still seem to have their heads firmly implanted............

When driving the RR, I gave up waving years ago.

When ever I wave, all you got was a blank look from the other driver.

That is until coming back from Melbourne on Sunday. As I was going through Narrabri, the driver of a white Defender, towing a trailer, gave me a wave and I nearly broke my neck trying to wave back as he went passed.

So after that for the next hour or so, waved at every LR that went passed but so got tied of the same old same old.

Might yet have to go up to Gympie today, if I do I’ll see what happens.

Hi Pedro, if I don’t get booked off the road, I'll have some fun with this one.

I have already given it a 1,7000 km drive from Melbourne and it goes like a dream.

I thought my old 2003 RR went well but this TDV8 is something else.

The wife had a drive and all she want’s to do is drag everything, I have never come across someone so happy to get red lights.

    Cheers.

Must admit that as a Defender driver (130" Cab/tray & a 110" Xtreme) I ignore Discos & Rangies - too bloody many of 'em and usually filled with Mums and Kids!

But I do wave to Series, Countys, FCs & ALL other Defenders. (I sometimes forget when I'm in a car and still wave - puzzled looks come back though)
