    Off to Darwin

    Well guys I'm flying out on Sunday and get back next weekend.
    Have fun.
    I will be on tomorrow but don't know how much while away.

    Are you going via Cairns to Darwin or direct?

    If you do the Cairns path you will touch down in Gove. So give a wave as you pass overhead on landing/take-off and enjoy the great airport lounge.

    Darwins nice and tropical now, so enjoy the good weather and you should see a few good storms too. If you PM olmate and a few others they may meet up.

    I'm going Canberra, Sydney Darwin. Then driving down to one of the more remote basses. Monday night we drive back to Darwin for the rest of the week. At least my evenings should be free.

    Lucky bugger ,I was up there in 91 beautiful place ,used to get out to wangi falls and butterfly gorge a fair bit ,just the place to cool off in the hot weather ,nonetheless its a beautiful place must get back up there one day

    We used to swim at Howard Springs in the old days, was lovely, coolest water in town believe its full of crocs now, Berry Springs I hear is still swimable, its very difficult to stay cool in Darwin, still have two old canvas verandah bags in the shed that we used to hang under the house and store water in,
