    Disco weathershields

Hi there all, does anyone know if & where I can get a pair of weathershields for a Disco 1 please. Closer to Cairns the better. Thanks.

Aunger used to ( Their online website doesn't list them anymore) make standard weathershields for the D1, and a slimline weathershield for the D2. However, the last time I inquired was 12mths ago, and at that time I got one of the last sets of D2 slimlines.

You might be better off buying a set from the UK.

Just a word of warning, if you get D2 slimline models, the fit is a little off, and the shape of the rear vision mirror is a little different - which leaves a little gap at the bottom.

I got one from Autobarn a couple of years back. Generic brand they ordered in through their supplier. Depends on the spare parts bloke on how far out of his way he will go to help you.

You can buy them from LandRover like I did. They are not that expensive compared to after market and they fit. They, believe it or not just stick on and they have been there four years now. A great little accessory.

That's because they are aftermarket to a certain degree anyway.
Land Rover locally source the weathershields in Australia.

"Genuine" landrover. Top bit of gear really help with windnoise.
