I recon thats a pretty good effort for a 48cyl bike, would go like stink I'd recon.
Boss Hoss makes them, maybe not the only mob, but another case of "why would you"

Love these motor bikes Mudmouse. As an aircraft enthusiast, I would love to own one of these.

    I know Lucky Kaiser's Merlin. That's a "71" series blower, on a 5 litre V Twin.
Have you ever heard her running? Oh how sweet those tiny little exhaust stubs sound.

I saw him run it at the Mildura 1\8th mile drags some years back. At about 80 to 90 MPH, he let her have full noise. Really big clouds of tire smoke appeared, bike disappeared. Very quickly.

I just saw TommyK's post above. NOICE. I love the inline, not so sure about the cross mount.
She'd torque react like a croc in a death roll. Really nice work though.

Yes, he had it on display at the Churchie Fete a few years ago, and fired it up from time to time and burbled around The Flat and The Ovals.

One of the nicest engines I've ever heard is the old radial aero engine, any of them. They make such a lovely noise.

I did quite like how my old bosses "Pulling Tractor- Chokkablock" sounded.
A 908 ci V16 Chevvy. I put it together for him.

You take a pair of 454's and bolt them together at the crank, with the second block timed 16 degrees after TDC, to the first blocks TDC. Add Hilborn mechanical injection, pumping straight methanol into the 11.5 to 1 compression ratio chambers, you get over 1,000 HP. NICE tractor, FAST tractor.
And those 4 X 6 inch open boat style exhausts bellowed beautifully.

Yep, I do like a healthy sounding engine.
