ok says I
so I now own a $5 (she talked them down) engle that looks like it might just cool 20 cans or so maybe... but no power cables. great thinks I no power cables cause the fridge had died and the owner gave them away..
so i took out the angle grinder and sacraficed one of the many computer power cords I had spare to get it to fit the plug, turned it on wiggled the cord and nothing....
Duh you have to plug the other end in, went to plug it in, forgot to turn the fridge off, got a bit of a spark and a humming sound... Hey win one for me...
2 minutes later and one of the little pipes going into the frigde has ice on it.. and the evaportator has condensation on it....
so of to BCF to buy a 240v cable and a 12v cable and $60 later I have a working, if slightly worse for wear engle fridge......
to top it all off, its smaller than the old peltier cooler type fridge that used to live in the back of big red AND its even just about the right size to replace the cubby between the front seats.
amazing what some people will sell of without even trying to see if it works...
