WW1 and WW2 docos?
Can anyone recommend good quality docos on the Nazis , Hitler, pre war Nazi Germany, the weimar republic or ww1 docos. I'm interested in the Germans as im fascinated at what would make a society turn into what it did. And where to find them too.

Yes you can get such DVDS, I have some, the Gestapo and SS dvds I have explain the rise of the Nazi Party and Hitlers rise to fame and how he formed his secret police to run around compiling dosiers on everyone from Jews to teachers, have another one on the Storm Troopers and how they blew through Poland like a rocket and the rest, there are hundreds are different shows available, try a specialist military book shop or a real good DVD retailer, if you PM me I will dig mine out and give you names and makers etc, they are great.

If you can visit someone with Foxtel, the History Channel has a multitude of documentaries about World War II. Some are more interesting than others and may be aimed at different age groups. Some are very opinionated and play evil music whenever the Nazi top brass appear while others are quite balanced in their presentation.

Just get the History channel on cable/satellite TV you'll have about 12 hours a day.
Although I have found the recent series "Not Forgotten" very interesting.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
