Sorry Numpty sounds like it might be worth more than a carton , and Craig the post crete ( now that I know what it is) umm err got taken to the dump. Before I chuck anything else I may post it just in case it is worth something. I have a feeling now that I know more about what it is that the previous owner may have painted cars or something as there was putty and other types of paints, that ummm have also been chucked, again thanks for the feedback,

    Thats a bit harsh.
Quite often with properties equipment stays and judging by the size of it is too big to move.
The previous owner would have had every opportunity to remove personal effects. Usually if it was siezed as part of the forclosure it would have been sold seperately.
Have moved in to a couple of houses where people have not taken gear with them. I have even done it myself.
Happens on site here all the time where guys leave site and as on high income just leave all their gear, tv's, playstations, clothes, money, alcohol, stereos etc. The camp management company usually ring them and most dont want it back. Christmas for the cleaners.

Did a quick google and it certainly looks like one of these:

    ShawAirCompressors

No prices on that web site though

Nope not offended, as CraigE stated, they had plenty of time to get what they needed. Took me a whole weekend just to clean out the crap, would have much rather spent my time doing other things. There's the old saying..."Charity starts at home" and I have 5 mouths and one on the way to feed. Also I bought the house, its not like the previous owner of any house, no matter the circumstances it was sold under, can come back and say claim the pool gear, or a door, window, fire place etc etc. Aside from that, the current economic climate is fine, half these people wait till the last minute before it goes kaboom, it doesnt happen overnight. If anything when I donate $$$ etc it is for people who really need it and they don't live in this country

Chances are once I have the details, I will sell it to someone who knows how to use it ,

    Regards

All good, no real offence taken. We all have slightly less than perfect posts sometimes.

I recently bought one which looks pretty similar in size to this, but was only two cylinder. It was virtually new, had been installed in a workshop which subsequently went broke and shut down - I spotted it in second-hand dealers in Kambalda WA. Paid $3,500 for it (may have paid a bit of a premium as I was buying on behalf of a mining company, and as soon as you mention that you are a gold mining company, the price goes up).

Anyway, it has been in use for a while now supplying all of the plant air to the front end of a 2.5 million tonne per year crushing plant. As others have said, you could run a whole workshop with this thing.
    Cheers .........
