Thread: Ok one for those who know about tools/ equipment etc...What is this?

Check the drain in the tank for water......would hate to think its been sitting there for ages with some water

It would be handy to keep esp for blowing up all the inflatable toys for the pool, checking tyre pressures on your cars and trailer, the kids bikes, cleaning the air filter in the D3 after hitting the shops..........opps that should read tracks

Its a big unit though

any how i think you should sell it to me

when you do have a look and get a piccy of the plug that goes into the wall and somewhere on the motor, usually on the flat bit on the top or on one side just below it is a data plate for the motor listing its specs, that will give us some clues as to the power requirement and on the tank should be stamped numbers or a plate listing the max pressure of the tank its liquid volume capacity (so you can work out how much air it can take) and its construction/last inspetion date.

As stated earlier, probably worth about 2-3k new. Probably about 20cfm (the amount of air it puts out) Probably too heavy to move around, but great to put in the corner of your garage, and run a retractable air hose for all your needs.

Binford compressors are superceded by Glecos Airmac compressors, they are made here in Australia.

They still make the 3 cylinder compressor pumps, so i would imagine they still have parts for them.
