Check the drain in the tank for water......would hate to think its been sitting there for ages with some water

It would be handy to keep esp for blowing up all the inflatable toys for the pool, checking tyre pressures on your cars and trailer, the kids bikes, cleaning the air filter in the D3 after hitting the shops..........opps that should read tracks

    Its a big unit though

stevo, if you want to know if its ok call me, otherwise just keep it until we figger if it's ok.', and i might add, these things don't usually break.
    it's a keeper.
and i will bring my trailer up for you to fill with the stuff you want to ditch, save you taking it to the tip [just in case you have to back the your trailer] wink wink, nudge nudge.

Before I chuck anything else I may post it just in case it is worth something. I have a feeling now that I know more about what it is that the previous owner may have painted cars or something as there was putty and other types of paints, that ummm have also been chucked, again thanks for the feedback,

when you do have a look and get a piccy of the plug that goes into the wall and somewhere on the motor, usually on the flat bit on the top or on one side just below it is a data plate for the motor listing its specs, that will give us some clues as to the power requirement and on the tank should be stamped numbers or a plate listing the max pressure of the tank its liquid volume capacity (so you can work out how much air it can take) and its construction/last inspetion date.

    Hey Stevo

As stated earlier, probably worth about 2-3k new. Probably about 20cfm (the amount of air it puts out) Probably too heavy to move around, but great to put in the corner of your garage, and run a retractable air hose for all your needs.
    Great find,

    Cheers,

    Ken

Binford compressors are superceded by Glecos Airmac compressors, they are made here in Australia.

They still make the 3 cylinder compressor pumps, so i would imagine they still have parts for them.

Keep it, put it in the landy for an onboard air system you could run 4 air jacks and rattle guns off it, one for each wheel, oh yeah.... four people to operate them too You could really give the F1 pit crews a run for their money when you want to change to you mud tyres
