LRD299 will save the odd LR freak looking for a rego sticker if they where that inclined

oh well you can please some people some of the times not every body all the time

Cmon, talk about stating the obvious, there is so much you can do with personalised plates and you chose to tell everyone what they can already see for them selves.

As far as someone checking the rego sticker, most of the LR nuts on here could pick a 99 D2 from the opposite side of the hume while traveling at 110kmh so why bother spending the money.

Your money though, do what you want with it, it's not up to me but I am allowed an opinion, enough people have their own opinion on what I post possitive and negative.

My (now aged) mother brought me up to believe that "If you can't say something positive, don't say anything at all".

Translating it to this forum I believe that "If yoou can't say something constructive, don't say anything!"

My mother says the same thing still.

I like the modification of the proverb that I found in a book once:

"If you cant think of something nice to say, say something nasty"

Where does it being constructive mean that you have to agree with it.

I dont like those sort of plates, I made my point and now you guys are making it about my post rather than Rovernits plates.

What is it in your post that it constructive to this thread or even related to this thread?

Why dont you guys just get back on topic......

    Rovernit - that is good.

I know that if I had never read this thread and saw your Rovernit's Disco, read the plates - I would have had a grin and thought "Well done mate".

LRD299 - a very subtle word to which only other Land Rover nuts would recognise.

Drive her with pride mate - and if you see someone grinning as they walk past - you know that they are most likely one of us and someone who knows their Land Rovers.
