About 1999 me and a realy good mate of mine decked out his WB with the whole nine yards including a gennie, X-mas tree and a bucket loads of lights a drove up and down Dean ST in Albury. The cops pulled us over and told us that the extention cord down the middle of the windscreen had to be moved as it was obstructing our veiw. So after a bit more tape it was moved and back to up and down Dean ST.

Just off the topic for a second, How did the bodywork on the landy cope with the hail compared to other vehicles?

While not strictly answering your question, IIRC the roof on my Disco is steel, while the bonnet is Al. Both suffered similar damage.

Further, I had so much trouble getting onto the insurers, I'm sure they weren't all Landy drivers in the queue ahead of me.

Do ours every year, it became a tradition after doing it with our Jackaroo. Now we do it because the misses gets embarrassed driving it! (Keeps her in the Feroza!)

This weekend is the time we do it, will post up some pics when done
