Sydney Storm Damage

I feel for you guys , living in tassie we dont get anything like that here and i hope we never do without warning.
But on another note do any of you lot have video footage of the storm ?

I drove down to my fathers place near Castle Hill on sunday arvo. I pulled up in the driveway and got out and said G'day and down it came.
Bonnet, left rear door and roof all copped it. And I'v just changed to a new insurer!!

and if we say we were at the christmas party as well when the storm him.....






do you think i could get her hail damage repaired........???

Panel beater mate told me to buy Landy (rather than Nissota) coz he got sick of reffereeing Dunnydore/ Skippy fights for free! then told me NEVER take it to him to repair it, so I guess he s no good to you, sorry!

people are saying that when steel, the dents can be popped out unlike aluminium................


maybe landrover had more foresight then people are giving them credit for and built the new defender for the ever more fequent hail storms in oz;)

Think the alloy stretches more then steel and is difficult to heat shrink because of low melting point,

I got told this also from a panelbeater. Aluminium is just too stretchy.

I've used Barry Smith Holden at Pennant Hills and they were excellent. Since then I now go back to get any paint buffing, detailing etc done. Although they're a Holden shop, they still do Aluminum and do it very well despite my initial reservations. I punched in a front guard corner and they were able to repair it perfectly amongst the other stuff that they fixed, and if I ever do damage to the Disco again, Barry Smith Holden will be my choice of repairer.
