Tis the name i came up with when another mate brought a defender a few years back.... If we havnt worked it out... Defender is a brand of snail poision pallets....

A '93 fenda would have a 200tdi engine I think, mine has a 300tdi so I can't offer much advice on that score.
Excessive "backlash" or slack in the drivetrain can require a lot of little bits & pieces to fix, are you mechanically minded? If so you can do most of it yourself but there could br work needed in the gearbox/transfer case.

I have tinkered with a few cars over the years, none of them being mine.. Once i work out what the issue is i can generally fix it. May need a little advice here n there.... Gotta love the forums!!
