Apparently in the movie Steve McQueen (or his stunt double) took off on one model bike and landed on another model bike ... but you only know if count the rivets

Mmmm not quite true, Steve McQueen rode the chasing bikes as well in the movie, because the stunt riders couldn't ride as fast as Steve
Grant, what about the twin down tube of the frame, is this because it's not a 650 frame or it's because it's not an early triumph frame, or is it's because it's a 500 Datona frame??
