go for a drive to minto and visit Ken O'Keefe at ultimate suspension. he can design springs and shocks, make them and valve them correctly for your vehicle and fit them.
Ive go the gear ive spoken to him prior he suggested that get rid off ace if you want more 40mm I was shocked and upset that was prior speaking to Slunnie revalving shocks isnt a worry sydney shocks will do that at a silly price

I want to see this thing up against my stock suspension

You wanna come up to Freemans again on Sunday?

It should be an even match, my diffs are in the same height off the ground as yours.

    Sure do.

These guys have built several TH, ZF & TF boxes for me over the years. When Jeff Dellow was making bellhousings out in Revesby these guys were making boxes to take torgue up the kiber.

We were shoehorning 460s into dakdaks, 454s into torries & droppin 351s into marinas. Who says the saps invented drifting.

The GrEEKs new a thing or too about exploding boxes & how to limit the damage. If they could keep taxis in the game 24/7 they made money.

I still know of one of their powerglides sitting behind a mopar 512. One of the bros was researching debendear kit & tricked up their glides the same. These boxes were good for 1500 HP. If they could keep cars running down castleraegh they made cred.

Dont know if they' re still around or if its the same crew running the show but these boys were the ducks guts.

Re Ultimate Suspension - they sell other peoples bits n pieces too.(ref Barnsey) Bilstiens, polysprings for example (whom are distributed by heasmans) King springs, whiteline, carroll etc etc etc. I used to valve my own shocks & use custom spring sets from Italy & Israel for bikes & cars. Its not rocket science - but it is race geometry.

I do know Graeme Copper does a lot of LR work & he'd be my personal 1st call point for mods on my Disco. He'll point you in the right direction.

Shoot tombraider a pm - he'll have some direction for you too knowdoubt.

    HTH

    Cheers

its nothing to crack a fat over Dobbo so thank you for your challenge however it not the name of the game just yet but wait its all wrong I don't know why so sorry if I take your challenge a little patronising

if the rear shock sit at 7 inch that gives me 5 droop when on the ramp there was another 2 inch in the shock so its only traveling 3 inch down less then standard

hence wanting to see professional help, I don't know if the spring rates are any good they certainly don't bind up or come anywhere near I know the shock rates aren't correct that's an easy fix

there limiting factors to travel not sure if these are ACE related not entirely happy hence why want to talk to a mob that can say bugger it lets do it these are the issues

I think what you said Slunnie makes the most sense to extend the links by that of your shock open length which you advised 650mm that would be 1.5 inchs

it seems though that the front has more travel then the rear but on a ramp its even could the rear limit the front approach to a ramp as well as the rear

    Macquarie will tell I suppose

Are we there yet dad, not yet kids just twenty more ramps to go, then the bog of old tyres.

I'm yet to find an articulation ramp in the australian bush

Perhaps I'm looking in the wrong spots.
