sorry Slunnie just a simple misunderstanding.
For the record I'm not against lifts, just silly ones. Theres a thread on another forum about an 8 inch lift on a road car, please tell me I'm not the only one who thinks this is very silly.
My theory is fit the tyres you want then lift accordingly to accomodate the tyres. Fix all aspects of the suspension geometry so it all works together and get it approved. In the meantime keeping the cg as low as possible. I haven't got the millions of dollars LR had to spend developing the suspension on my car.
In the 2 years I have owned it, the only times the suspension has not had enough travel and got me caught up was one night up at Stockton with CAL415 and Paulio and up at Freemans, the very expensive day (admittedly I was playing silly buggers both times) the rest of the times I have been caught up on the difs and a lack of momentum, and a suspension lift isn't going to solve these issues is it.
So Slunnie what are you doing on the 29th ah![]()
I feel a Put Up or Shut Up day coming on...
Actually might be a bit of fun to compare different setups back to back..
Slunnie when are you moving??
Regards
Max P
