I wish it would hurry up and rain on the Gold Coast I'm sick of big black clouds hanging around keeping the humidity high and no bloody rain.

We had another 17mm from when I posted yesterday

For the 2 days of rain we ended up with 45ml of rain . We have gone 30ml over our average for the month . And the month before we doubled our average . I think it's time somewhere else got it .

I'm away from home at the moment but I understand there has been three inches at home since I left! I hope I can get home after new year!

Dammed rain.
I just finished helping a mate with an insurance restoration business. He does fire and flood cleaning etc. Worked 16 hours Friday, 18 Saturday, 8 yesterday and 10 today. Feeling a little weary after crawling around on my knees for days ripping up wet carpets. My mate got around 500 jobs in four days and there will still be plenty of people who will have to put up with wet smelly carpet for Christmas.
I was planning to make it to the Vic Xmas pub meet but missed that and I have had no time time to buy Christmas presents so am unlikely to be popular tomorrow :eek::eek::eek:
