    The 3 Amigos!
    Land Rover Disco!
    Remote Control!
    $130.
I do not know what they are like to deal with, but there has been some negative press concerning warranty.

    Craig,

They were going to sell me one for $120.00.
Although from the photo's it was a 1/10, not the 1/6.

Anyway, the direct depost was returned with a note saying the account no longer exists and my E-mails bounced.

Looks like they have been shut down and I was very lucky

Heng Tai has arrived from the USA

The two front doors open electrically.

Back door lifts up so you can plug in an MP3 and play it whilst the car is running.

    So how big is it?

Sorry about the doors being open, the battery ran flat and is now being charged. I was surprised that it arrived with some charge in it.

The lights work, blickers operate when the steering is turned. It has a horn and the car makes the noise of a V8 idling when stationary, then arcs up and changes gears three times when on the move.
When you select reverse, it beeps as well as engine noise.

    Cheers

Well, after recharging the battery, I have observed the following.

The big toy is really modelled from the Disco 1, thirsty and gutless Battery runs down quick and the thing can only move on a hard surface. Add to that, RWD only and it's a poor example for a 4WD.

I think I may pull it to bits and rebuild it with a 4WD sytem from the Son's left over R/C cars, twin batteries and a bigger motor.

In the mean time, Lozza the Rainbow Lorikeet loves riding around on the the roof, although she does cr*p on it when the doors open and shut! (Sudden movements)
The bird has a high "startle" factor

You sure? Maybe that's just her opinion of the thing

You know the drill Ron, pickies.
I should come back to Brisbane to see the latest addition to your fleet, but I'd need a better excuse than that. Thinking, thinking confused

    LOL :-)

I'll see if I can do that
She is a "Car Tart", loves riding in all of them.
Wife won't let her in the Foulcan as it has cloth seats and they stain
The Jaguars and Disco have leather, it wipes clean.
