    Electric seat connected to Mirrors!

I have read here before that others have had this problem. IE I try to adjust the electric seats and all that happens is the mirrors move!

I've been having this problem for a while..generally after it rains and the carpet gets inevitably wet..still haven't worked that one out..its not the windows..anyway the prob goes away once the carpet dries out....

    Not anymore!

Has anyone worked out where this short originates from? Do the wires cross somewhere?

At the moment I'm driving with my face pressed against the windscreen and my knees around my ears...... well it seems that way...

    Cheers.

It seems like there are connectors under the flooring that are shorting when wet.
Dry everything, spray connectors with de-watering fluid, and seal the little buggers. That should fix it.

till the next rains at least.

    Hi,
I have no solution, but that's just plain funny!

Have you tried adjusting the mirrors for a more comfortable seating position?

Or is the shorting trail longer?

    Good luck with it
