Well said, I will second that....best I start reporting back
I have noticed, especially in Technical Chatter, that most people that ask for and recieve Tech advice and help on a whole range of subjects including problem solving, don't come back and post the results of the advice recieved. I'm not having a whinge here.
My point is, it is very hard to diagnose Mechanical, Electrical or any other problems that crop up in Land Rovers. especially as many people seeking help dont have Mechanical abilities.
What I am asking, is if you ask for help or info on a problem with your vehicle, could you please comeback with some feedback on 1. what was actually wrong, 2. did the advice help, 3. if not and you had it repaired by someone other than yourself, what did they find and what repairs were carried out.
Your feedback will help others who have a similar or same problem and also help the persons giving the advice. As I stated earlier it is hard to diagnose a problem from a distance and it would be good to know if the advice given was helpful or not, Regards Frank.

I second that not also for your well said points but most important for courtesy and good manners.
Cheers
Apart from it being common courtesy to give the feedback suggested, it would certainly make searches through previous threads more productive.
Often several different suggestions are made and as you say, some indication of which one was the best diagnosis or the easiest solution to implement could save some time.
Good idea.

Great idea Tank,
I third/ fourth that motion
The forum Search functions will be enhanced, and it is always interesting and helpful to know WHAT WENT WRONG and how it was repaired in the end.

Good idea. Guess I will have to search through my threads as each was fixed from advice supplied on the forum.
Top idea
Brilliant idea especially for people like myself who are new to landrovers and trawl through all the posts so I can learn.

Just wondering if I should have put it to moderators first, maybe they could put up a Sticky requesting Feedback from anyone that has asked for and used advice given, voluntary of course. It would certainly help others when a similar problem with there vehicle arises.
Thanks for the support, Regards Frank.
