Welcome home.
Got back home about 2pm today (with two grand daughters 6&9). Uneventful trip, can't even complain about the other drivers.
Nearest thing to an incident was close to home came across two B-double stock transports stopped by the roadside, changing a wheel on the back trailer of one. From a quick glance looked like both tyres on one wheel were completely shredded. Just off gravel onto a hundred yard stretch of bitumen, so I assume he felt it as soon as he got on the bitumen.

Welcome home.
Well, I have two sons, one in Melbourne, one in Yass - Christmas rotates between the three of us - last year was Melbourne, this year Yass, next year here. Melbourne son did not make it - he only got Boxing day off, worked every other day.
My great nephew, who lives in Darwin and just got back from Iraq, also arrived yesterday at his grandmother's (my sister next door four km away) complete with family. I think he has about another three weeks leave, and spent Christmas with his in-laws in Narromine.
