My ex works for Sea world, well she used to, I used to live at Palm Beach for a while, its a big ask but we will give it a shot, been promising for years we would go, the kids are getting to the stage we wont have them for much longer, so its now or ever, to quote Elvis.

Define cheap? You may be able to get a holiday rental for a week or two, it could be the cheapest option, though not that cheap.

Basically what we are looking at would be a self contained unit, in the peak season like now they are bloody expensive I am discovering, wont get any change form 1500 for 14 days for a 3 bedrom thing which I guess isnt bad if you consider normal housing costs, Jacobs is up near Coombabah country, I have been to Coombabah, when I was last there 5 years ago there was a big development under way for tourism which I would say is Jacobs, still looking though there are heaps of places its just location, we have relations on the Gold Coast, we will sort something

this is about 20 mins north of movieworld/wet and wild etc.

probably about 45 mins north of surfers paradise.

in the middle of nowhere in my opinion.

I have done the parks when I was younger but that was before children, I would rather go to Adelaide but I am the minority and will be out voted very easily, and or threatened with other nasties by the minister for war, we have found a place that maybe a goer, just have to shorten the trip a little a bit but thats ok, you see the parks in the first couple days, you go shopping, great what do you do for the next week, I can handle boredom, kids cant sit still for 25 seconds, anyone bought a coke or a bottle of water in a theme park lately, I can remember being slapped 4 bux for bottled water by a hawker near the Polar bear pool that was too lazy to stick his head up for a photo, I would like to see the shark pool and reconfirm why I dont swim in the sea.
