I watched that one form on the radar. It was huge, but missed us. We went out to look at the local flooding and ended up having to take the long way home. Here's a couple of pics. The first one is the Logan River at Jimboomba (Cusack Lane), the second is the water over the Mt Lindsay Hwy on the northern side of Jimboomba.

I'm not sure how you will go getting to Tamborine. Might be ok by then. You can definitely get from Beaudesert to Nerang - my father-in-law did this trip twice today.

    Lots of local flooding
I looked on the radar and it looked as though Stafford got hammered. We were at Zillmere at the time and there was hardly a drop.

Had 53mm in the rain gauge at Corinda - all seemed to come down in about 15min. As luck would have it I drove right into it and I swear it couldn't have rained harder if it tried. Wipers weren't able to keep up but, bizarrely, the new Defender didn't leak!

Biggest downpoor I've seen for a couple of years I reckon - absolutely bucketed down at Norman Park for about half an hour. So towards the end of it, we did the logical thing - took the Fender out looking for big puddles to drive through Found a couple of good ones near Coles at Coorparoo
