    Who remembers this Band

    I was kicking around some old cds today and came across a blast from the past, who remembers SPY vs SPY? anyone know if they still about, remember seeing them in the late 80s at the UNI Bar here, wasnt bad, better when full as a boot though.

    Yes, I remember them - and I have a mate who I think was actually running their fanclub or something (or maybe he was just a tragic Spies fan). He always seemed to be involved in their gigs and often ended up on stage with them for some reason. Changed their name to vSpy vSpy (I think because of the Mad magazine comic). I'll have to ask my mate what he knows.

    Yep, great band...a lot of great songs and excellent live...

    The pub music scene during the 80's in Sydney was fantastic...lot of great bands.

    I read Matt Finish have a reformed lineup since the death of Matt Moffitt, and will be putting out a new (retrospective) album soon...
