Sorry cucinado,
In English, an exclamation mark indicates the end of a sentence, just like the "full stop".

Hi Simon,
Welcome to AULRO!
Re your key fob, I'm sorry but I have no advice to offer (actually that applies re almost any topic :(). I just want you to feel better and so I will tell you that I have just ordered two key/fobs for my D3. They will cost $425 EACH to be supplied and configured to my car. Oh, I shouldn't forget to tell you that they have to come out from UK (6 weeks supply time).:mad::mad:
on the key fobs ...maybe ask someone like Range Rove Automotive in Mitcham if they have any second hand ones, ( from wrecked vehicles etc ) they should be able to program your car ECU to work with them ...at least it can be done that way with a D1 I'm not sure about a D2.
oh and welcome tp the forum ...
"just ordered two key/fobs for my D3. They will cost $425 EACH to be supplied and configured to my car".
Wow! :( I don't feel better though, probably a bit relieved that I wont be buying two, but that's about all. Did you loose the others in a card game?
I sat in a new D3 in Doncaster the other day, much better ergonomics than the D2, more power, easier access, better designed, but for me the D2 still has the looks :BigThumb:. Nice to hear the D3 also has a Jag engine, bye bye buick, LR must be persisting with their policy of designed-in oil leaks. :Rolling:
No, no card game.:):)
I bought the D3 in mid-Nov as part of a deceased estate. The widow, unfortunately, couldn't find the second set.
I like to have two sets handy and leave one at a friends house, in case I get caught losing one when I'm out. :(:(
With the 6 weeks supply time, I'm pleased I had ordered them a while ago, as I've managed to misplace my only set.:o
I know, when I find them, they will be in a logical spot - but which one.
Am currently having a break from "ripping the house apart" to find them. :(
G'day Simon, welcome aboard.
The only thing that leaks in my 97 SE V8 is my wallet, usually at the nearest Mobil servo. Wouldn't have it any other way.:p
I'll keep an eye out, good to know local owners.
On another note, (to all members here) my first ever car was a '65 VW beetle. I've never sensed a feeling of belonging to car with such an enthusiastic following since then as I do now. Damn glad to be touching base with you all.
Gday Simon welcome to AULRO :)
