I think the worse I had was 17 cuts on my hand removing a starter motor from a case front end loader one of those jobs where you can't see what your doing and do it by feel. When I pulled the starter out along with my hand blood was covering both items must have been a very sharp edge plus it was snowing so did not feel anything.
disco seriesII mods so far:-bullbar,hyd winch,
detriot locker, lsd front,C.D.L kit, chipped and bigger intercooler,2" lift, rock sliders, lsd in transfer case, modified auto trans.

I've found that the black oily mud mix that is on the bottom of most sumps, gearboxes and diffs is great for plugging wounds. It's amazing what damage you find after washing that stuff off your hands and there is usually no sign of blood!

The other solution is to just keep working on your truck yourself. Eventually you will have loosened every nut and bolt and will know exacly how many extensions and uni joints are required on you 3/8 ratchet to reach the difficult ones.

So tell me has anyone in the world stripped and rebuilt a landy without taking skin off ? I'm doubting it but you never know

It's way way old Nordic, Vulcan, Thor, Earth, Fire, Blood sacrifice.
    All that fun stuff.

I cant even open my tool box without giving a 40 thou sacrificial offering.
When it comes to that damned bolt way back there?
Oh, that's going to bleed. And hurt, sting, burn, throb, pain.

But, we love our Meccanno sets.
