Signwriters nowadays use vinyl cutters and more recently now using solvent printers that can print almost photographically and have a cutter option to trim around the shape... the industries have changed heaps over the last few years and can now do brilliant things by machine that previously you would have painted and airbrushed by hand.

Airbrushing is now a specialised field

Shows I have been out of touch with the industry... that's what happens when you sit in the digital / interactive TV industry for too long.

    You learn something new everyday...

Good spelling has also become an extremely specialised section of the industry. In fact, so specialised that there are no known practitioners of the black art.

    Except for you...

A bit of new, stress-free school with a good drop of Sepo influence, dash of keyboard stutter and a dollop of laziness produces some interesting effects...

Still, when it comes to spending lots of $$$$ on printing I'd rather have the fat guy in a suit sign the finished artwork off.

I have a theory that the best graphics blokes are those who doodled away through class and never paid attention - that's why they can't spell.
