The camp site is indeed mentioned in the book, it's the Nerum Creek camping area (not to be confused with the Nerum Creek Bush Retreat). The non booked area is nicer than the booked section I reckon. More "remote" and no one else there.

It was a great drive - Jacky Creek Road and A Break were a blast to me - a novice! But I guess it's no big deal - I selected L1 and locked the centre diff and up we went.

Nice pics - although I think we should be glad you wear boxers and not briefs! :o:D

We've done that trip a few times, it's always a nice drive. Never stayed at that camp site, it looks good. We usually stay at the Archer campsite, not far from the Neurum Creek site. It's also on Neurum Creek, and has a great swimming hole (if you ever stay their, book campsite 9, it one of the bigger sites and is right beside the water hole).
