Sorry to hear about the loss of your tools.....it may pay to put a permanent search on to ebay as well. Never know.

4 fellows from work went to 1770 fishing and whilst they were asleep some one went through the camp and stole all their fishing gear.

They eventually got it all back. Two German backpackers have been arrested, they are going to get a jail sentence...hate to be in their shoes...as the very blokes they stole from are the blokes who are responsible for ensuring their safety and that they aren't too molested by the sex maniacs .

Sorry to hear of your loss of tools, first, I would report it to Police, so it will be put on the "Wiz-List" then if and WHEN they turn up at cash converters or similar,(very legal types) it may then be recoverable, the usual way CC work with tools, is to split them up, IE throw them in a big trunk, loose with other ???? tools and sell them at $ each, so if you can identify some of your tools you have a % of a chance Also check the Sunday Markets

They will probably go first to the "Dealer" then he will off load to a "Fence"
been there, had that happen, recovered some a month or so later

    cheers
Thats a bummer mate, the loss of tools is one thing but its hard to shake the sick feeling you get in your stomach that some bastard has pinched stuff that your family worked hard to get. But speaking from experience the youth of today just do that, i had to put a $8000 security fence around a vege plot because the little bastards thought it was entertaining to come in and rip out the hard work that the good kids put in. It sucks, and what sucks more is that there is stuff all we can do about it.

I would also keep and eye on ebay aswell. matt

Thanks troops, I have reported to the polizie, am meeting with the boss of the local cash convertors today, here you need 100 points of ID to sell stuff to CC, its worth a look as we dont have to many old fashioned pawn brokers here, there is the chance they were sold outside of CC or other, the tool box is so easily distinguised its unique if its at cashys it will stand out like the proverbial,
I dont want to think this but I am leaning towards the fact it may have been a mate of my boys thats done this, know one really goes in the shed out side of the family, we have a boxing bag out there so I am guessing one of his low life mates has spotted it, hopefully boy has no involvement, I had a phone go walkies recently so I am adding numbers up, one child refuses to tow the line and has been in plenty trouble for similar things, he nearly killed my boy in a car crash a while ago and recently in Tamworth on a holiday this same kid stole and dragged a vending machine with his ute, the locals wheeled him in for this caper I heard , I would really hate to think my stuff was flogged for money to buy smokes, that would really be dissapointing.
