Very sad, hope you do have some luck finding them.![]()
As I was cleaning my shed to retrieve the little Climax motor I got rid off I was looking for my old tool box which had the hand controls and some linkage rods in it, also contained 2 sidchrome sets 1 spanners and 1 sockets I got on my 18th and 21 st birthdays respectively from dad as his dad did for him, the tool box has been bloody ripped off. How is the question as we have a Labrador who will bark at flys, 3 shihtzus and a killer blue russian cat, plus the side gate is padlocked and the tool box was quiet heavy, what the hell do you do when you lose stuff like this, the tools can be replaced although they wont have the same meaning, I would have handed those down eventually when the kids were old enough to look after them, all my AF tools are now gone, maybe a handful in the toolbox under the landy seat. Have to goto cash converters and see if they ended up down there

Wouldnt have happened if the Staffy was still alive, he would let u in the yard quiet happily but no way was u leaving if we werent home.
its amazing the audacity of some degenerate thieves....
Last night at the apartments where I live a car was brazenly stolen. The car was in the 'secure' car park basically outside the persons bedroom window. The security is not that overly high tech but still to come in at 2am and roll the car out so not to make noise is gutsy to say the least.

Sorry to hear of your loss of tools, first, I would report it to Police, so it will be put on the "Wiz-List" then if and WHEN they turn up at cash converters or similar,(very legal types) it may then be recoverable, the usual way CC work with tools, is to split them up, IE throw them in a big trunk, loose with other ???? tools and sell them at $each, so if you can identify some of your tools you have a % of a chance
Also check the Sunday Markets
They will probably go first to the "Dealer" then he will off load to a "Fence"
been there, had that happen, recovered some a month or so later
cheers
Sorry to hear about your loved tools mate. Hope that you get them back . It would be good if you were aloud to set up an electric fence to the mains and fry some of these low life scumbags that have nothing better to do than take personal belongings . I have a baseball bat under the bed and the person that breaks into my house will need an ambulance and screw what the law says ...... it's my house![]()

Uncle Ho's correct report them to the Police and then keep an eye out in the local pawn shops. There are particular ones that specialise in tools - like one in Sydney's Redfern (whos surprised at that). If you see any of your items in one go back to the Police and let them know.
