Is vapour injection likely to be any better?
better feul consumption is the aim. 450km out of my tank would be welcome
thats just around town too i have'nt gone for a hirhway run yet (no more than 80k's each way)
I can't believe how much LPG the larger V8's consume!!! Here I am aiming for 5.5Km/L Last fuel up I got 5.4Km/L!

Thats about average. The only way you would do better is to go to a dedicated lpg only set up and then it is only marginally better. This is how my old RRC is set up (my Dad has now) and is currently getting around 750kms per 110 litres.
4.2 litre stroker. I got a lot less, but I had a lead foot non injected motor.

I have a 2001 Disco V8 with an Elko Direct Sequential Vapour Injection system.
300 - 350km seems to be the norm per 70L fill.
The direct vapour injection is great - no power loss that I've noticed. Starts on petrol & changes over on it's own once the engine is warm. Changes are so smooth you can't feel it, even under full power!
