Health Ledger was found dead this morning. Only 28 yrs old. Poor little Matilda his 2 Old Daughter he as left behind. Rest in Peace![]()
"Heath Ledger has been found dead. His body was discovered this afternoon at around 3:30 PM by his housekeeper in his SoHo home. At the age of 28, he is survived by his two-year-old daughter with his former fiancee Michelle Williams. Apparently, the housekeeper had gone into Heath's room to alert him that his masseuse for his massage had arrived and that's when he was found. This information was released by NYPD rep, Paul Browne.
At that point, the New York Fire Dept. received a call in response to a "cardiac arrest call."
As far as it's known, the actor was found "surrounded by pills" and was by himself.
The "Brokeback Mountain" star was set to take on the role of Joker for the latest installment in the Batman movie series, "The Dark Knight."
More details as the story develops..."
Who Knows. Its sad for his little girl reguardless.
Well that's just
What a waste. Reviews of Batman: The Dark Knight, hail Heath's acting in the role of the joker better than Christian Bale as Batman, stole the limelight apparently.
Absolute shame and unnecessary.

Reports say actor Heath Ledger was sick with pneumonia when he died from a suspected drug overdose at an apartment in New York.
Ledger's family has also been told by police that the actor's death was not suicide, entertainment website TMZ reports.
The website claims a representative from Ledger's family contacted them to deny reports that the actor had killed himself.
The 28-year-old actor's body was found at a residence in Broome St, SoHo, by a housekeeper and a masseuse at 3.31pm local time (7.31am AEDT).
A New York Medical Examiner has attended the apartment where Ledger was found. His body was removed from the building on a stretcher in a black body bag.
The housekeeper and masseuse reportedly found Ledger naked and unconscious on a bed, with prescription and non-prescription pills strewn on a night table next to him.
Bottles of the anti-anxiety drugs Diazempam and Alprazolam were reportedly found at the apartment.
Paramedics who attended the scene found the actor in full cardiac arrest, and unsuccessfully attempted to perform CPR. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said they did not suspect foul play, but could not say whether the death was accidental or deliberate.
The New York Times initially reported that the apartment belonged to actress Mary-Kate Olsen. But Olsen's representatives have since denied this.
"She does not own the apartment. She has never owned the apartment. She and her sister have an apartment in New York City but they are not in this building," the representative said.
Film industry colleagues mourn a great talent
Producer Emile Sherman, who worked with Ledger on the Australian film Candy, said the actor had a "sensitive, artistic soul".
"I received calls and e-mail and texts from a large number of people and that’s how I found out. The word got around very quickly," Mr Sherman said.
"I was in disbelief. I haven't spoken to Heath for a while, but we were planning on catching up via e-mail soon.
"For someone of his age to die is a huge tragedy, it's a huge tragedy for the Australian Film Industry and the International Film Industry." Mr Sherman said Ledger was not a difficult actor to work with.
"He was a very committed and had a maturity and depth of character well beyond his year," he said.
Actress and fellow Australian Nicole Kidman called Ledger's death "a terrible tragedy". "My heart goes out to his family," Kidman said.
Wendy Day, publicist for Nicole Kidman and Russell Crowe, was apparently unaware of Ledger's death when contacted by ninemsn.
"It's news to me. I guess I should find out about it," Ms Day said.
It is a real shame and I hope it was just a tragic accident for his families sake![]()
