Just found out its the top of the range model, whatever that is

as the salesman couldn't say because it wasn't in the yard yet (still).

Was it a silver Disco? I think I may have seen it in a car yard going past the other day. I'm in Marsden and it's only a few minutes from home.

It didn't look too shabby from the road though

Yep its a silver 1. Just looking into insurance & got a bit of

shock, anyone know of a good (& cheapish) insurance company, 1 that covers offroad?
Just 1 of the "con's" I suppose of a V8.

I use RACV Insurance here in Vic for our 97 D1 v8, and it's about 50% dearer than our 95 Fairmont, $650 compared to $440 per annum.
As I understand it, it covers any gazetted roads.

How does this compare with what you expected?

released overseas in '98

Oh OK, Ozzies left till later again eh, ah well I hope that means they found & fixed any probs before being released here.
