That episode came up on the RangeRovers.net forum a few months back - it raised a few hackles among the US members of the forum.
Goes to show you the intelligence of the of the "leaders" of the free world. There are some spots in Australia I would probably avoid doing that in though...

Mind you, I had a pump action shotgun down the side of the seat. And the Camero rocked - it sat on 100mph all day. Ended up in LA and sold it for $1000 9 weeks later.
Great episode, I was laughing most of the way through it, not so good with cracked ribs.

It was a very funny show until they encountered the ugliness of crazed American jingoists in full vent - Hollywood never quite shows it like that. One of the phrases painted on their cars to provoke the rednecks into shooting at them was "Hillary for President". Dayum! Now them's fightin' words!:o
I can quite understand the need to whistle up a truck load of "good ol'boys" to hurl rocks at (and presumably tar and feather if they catch them) people who drive into town with that kind of filth written on their vehicles! :p

I must say it suprised me the reaction they got at the servo, i knew they were idiots but thats bad. If i was at a servo anywhere and 3 blokes pulled in with that on their cars i would **** myelf, especially the pink "Man Love Rules Ok" one, thats a classic. I think they take stuff way to seriously. It brings back memories of Die Hard 3 when the bad guy orders Bruce Willis to go to down town Harlam and wear a sandwhich board that says i hate niggers, i can see why someone would get killed for that but having Country and Western is Rubbish isnt really that bad.
